Driverless Solar Power Bus by Startup: The driverless solar-powered bus developed by Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a significant innovation in sustainable transportation. The bus is designed to operate without emitting any pollutants, contributing to cleaner air and a more sustainable environment. It harnesses solar energy, making it an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fuel-powered vehicles. This aligns with global efforts to reduce carbon footprints.
Space tech start up: ISRO’s PSLV-C53 successfully launched three Singaporean satellites along with Digantara’s Digital Space Weather Instrument, the world’s smallest of its kind, developed by Lovely Professional University alumni. Led by CEO Anirudh Sharma and COO Rahul Rawat, Digantara created the first commercial space-based weather system, ROBI, as part of India’s first commercial payload on PSLV’s PS-4 platform. The instrument, with minimal power consumption, is adaptable to any satellite, enabling real-time space weather data. Earlier, Digantara interacted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who later praised the startup in his Mann ki Baat speech, highlighting its space tech innovation.
