Week 1: Introduction to Energy Efficiency and Clean Energy

Topics Covered:

  • The basics of energy efficiency: What it is and why it matters.
  • Understanding clean energy: Solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal power.
  • How energy usage impacts the environment and climate change.
Week 2: Household Energy Efficiency Practices

Topics Covered:

  • Practical ways to save energy at home (lighting, heating, cooling, appliances).
  • Benefits of energy-efficient appliances and lighting (LEDs, smart meters).
  • Reducing standby power consumption.
Week 3: Clean Energy Solutions for Homes and Communities

Topics Covered:

  • Introduction to renewable energy options for households (solar panels, solar water heaters).
  • Government incentives for clean energy adoption (rebates, subsidies).
  • Community clean energy projects (solar farms, community wind turbines).
Week 4: Energy Efficiency in Businesses and Public Spaces

Course Completion and Certification: Students who achieve a score of 60% or higher in the final assessment will receive a printable certificate recognizing their course completion.
