Health and well being frame work

Introduction

The health and wellness systems have been created in the university to provide accessible and equitable healthcare services to meet health and well-being needs of students and employees of LPU in particular, and people staying in the surrounding areas in general. The framework has been created with the understanding that wellness includes the components of physical, psychological, emotional and social well-being. Outreach programs, health insurance, on- going awareness programs, routine check-up camps, collaborations with stake-holders at local, national and international level are the cornerstones of the frame work. We believe that Individuals with high levels of well-being are more productive at work and are more likely to contribute to their communities. This framework sets out the standards for supporting staff to feel well, healthy and happy at work. The frame work is reviewed after every five years and pertinent changes are made periodically.
