The Physiotherapy Camp organized by Lovely Professional University (LPU) in Chehru was a remarkable and benevolent gesture that reflected the institution's dedication to making a positive impact on people's lives. The camp had a two-fold purpose: raising awareness about the significance of physiotherapy and providing complimentary healthcare services to the local community. A free Physiotherapy Camp was conducted by Dr. Priyanka Rishi (PT) and Dr. Pushp Lata Arya (PT) at Jandu Singha, Jalandhar, which was organized by the Department of Physiotherapy, School of Allied Medical Sciences, LPU. Counselling & Happiness Cell at the campus has been established for the holistic development of students and staff and to address their emotional and psychological concerns. Workshops / seminars and Hostel activities are regularly conducted for psychological and emotional well-being of students. Since beginning, LPU is a strictly smoke free campus in every aspect. All campus properties, including indoor and outdoor crowded areas, are entirely smoke free. The geotagged photograph and signages depicting the smoke free campus are posted at various locations of campus. There is no provision of ‘smoking shelters’ or equivalent, and where buildings are located near public rights of way, highways etc, signage clearly indicates that smoking should not occur within the access points to the buildings.
