The university has meticulously designed its curriculum to align with the imperative need for knowledge and awareness in the preservation of existing aquatic ecosystems. A diverse array of over 60 programs at the university is dedicated to this cause. LPU's programs aimed at sustaining water sources are resolutely dedicated to imparting comprehensive knowledge regarding aquatic ecosystems. Both undergraduate and master's students enthusiastically engage in outreach activities, which serve as a source of inspiration to undertake projects related to aquatic life and other endeavors within this domain. Furthermore, the university encourages students from other academic institutions to collaborate on these projects, fostering a spirit of collective effort.
Students of LPU visited the Guru Angad Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana.
Students experienced practical exposure from the study visit, which proves to be very adventurous and inventive. As the university has a vast collection of both preserved and living specimens, the visit's goal was to get more knowledge about zoological principles in the field of fisheries. They went to several ponds, fish-culturing labs, integrated agricultural systems, and other places. First, they provide a brief overview of the campus's amenities and different fish species.
LPU also shows commitment toward expanding the horizons of knowledge and promoting international collaboration by Collaborative Research Projects, Faculty and Student Exchange programs, academic activities such as seminars, workshops, and conferences serves as a platform for the exchange of ideas and the dissemination of knowledge.
