Project Name: FOOD DONATION CAMP Organization: MEDICRATES Description: On the occasion of National Food Day, Student Organization Medicrates organised a Food Distribution Camp in which they collected the packed food in the university from ones who wanted to donate & then they distributed the same in the neraby slums & villages
Project Name: SML Winning Hearts Organization: Society for Management Learning Description: Student Organization Society for Management Learning under the aegis of Division of Youth Affairs, Student Welfare Wing, LPU organized a donation drive for the Poor Children and Families living in villages and roadside in which they donated Clothes, Blankets and Edibles on the occasion of Republic Day.
Organization: Aashray Army Description: Student organizarion Aashray Army carried out activity "Deepotsav" Under Joy of Giving Project in which clothes, goods, sweets and Donations were collected inside the University and these were donated to needy people at Jalandhar Cantt.
Organization: The Social Souls Description: Members of the The Social Souls collected clothes under "Vastra Daan" initiative from the university staff, faculty members & strudents through help desks. The collected items will be then donated by the organization members in the nearly slum areas & villages.
Organization: LPU-NSS Unit Srijan and Navjeevan Description: LPU-NSS intiate a project Joy of Giving in which NSS volunteer doing community services to collect donated material from hostels and distribute to the unprivileged adopted villages, to improve their living.
SDG 2: Zero Hunger
Project Name: Food and Stationary Donation Drive Organization: Student Organization Pradyut Foundation Description: Student Organization Prayut Foundation, a group of dedicated volunteers, organized a social event centered around bringing joy and support to orphaned children. The event took place in at a local orphanage(Mother Teresa Orphanage). The primary objectives were to spend quality time with the children, spread happiness, and contribute through donations of edibles and stationary items.
Project Name: Ullaas- Give with Gladness Organization: Student Organization Spade Description: In the heart of our university's commitment to community welfare, Student Organization Spade organized the transformative event, "Ullaas-Give the Gladness." This initiative aimed to spread joy by collecting food items from our diverse university community and channeling this goodwill towards Pingla Ghar—a sanctuary for the underprivileged.

Project Name: UNYC Cares Organization: Health & Hygine awareness campaign Description: Student Organization United Nation Youth Community - With the motive of promoting Sustainable Development Goals and encouraging youths to adapt new ways to conserve future possibilities, Student Organization United Nation youth community organized UNYC Cares - Health & Hygine awareness campaign. This event promoted the ulterior aim which to put emphasis on the importance of Good Health and Hygiene.
Project Name: 9th International Yoga Day Celebration 2023 Organization: Student Organization CLUB 20 Description: On June 21st, Lovely Professional University's campus was filled with tranquility and dedication as it celebrated International Yoga Day 2023, organized by Student Organization CLUB 20. The event saw active participation from both teaching staff and students, coming together to embrace the transformative power of yoga.
Organization: Tachyons Description: Student Organisation "Tachyons" organised an event,'Namaste Health. It is a good health and well being SDG based event being organised on the occassion of World Health Day for guiding people regarding good health tips.
Organization: Undiscovered Path Description: Student Organization "Undiscovered Path" is organizing a Fitness Challenge in association with Fitness Edge gym for the event. The event included two activities : Fitness Challenge & Slow Cycle Race.
Organization: Ethic Craft Club Description: "Ethic Craft Club" has brought a special event with the name “Habits Reprogramming” for the people who are keen on looking at their lives with a more practical approach inculcating tiny habits that can change the track of life in the long run.
Organization: LPU-NSS Unit Reformic and Agniv Description: LPU-NSS organized Blood donation camp_A Lifeline which is a non-remunerative initiative that collaborates with blood banks , educational institutions and corporates across Punjab to connect Blood Donation Drives .

Project Name: Health Awareness and Skill Development Organization: Student Organization Pradyut Foundation Description: Student Organization Pradyut Foundation, comprised of dedicated volunteers, organized a impactful event focused on health awareness and skill development. The event aimed to bring awareness to health and well-being. The event was held in Jalandhar and sought to promote joy, social responsibility, and educational contributions.
Project Name: Donate a Pad Drive Organization: Student Organization -African Student Union Description: Intending to take initiatives towards Good Health and Hygiene, Student Organization African Student Union organized a “Donate a Pad Drive”. This event aimed to donate sanitary pads to Phagwara and Jalandhar's various areas and spread awareness of female health and hygiene points during their menstrual cycles.
Project Name: Career Guidance Session Organization: Sapphire Description: Student Organization Sapphire organized an event “Career Guidance Session #1: How to prepare for MAANG - Meta, Amazon , Apple , Netflix , and Google with Ravi Goswami”. Ravi Goswami (Co-Founder of Give My Certificate, Ex-MS Student Partner Gold) and an Alumni of LPU. The session was a roadmap to Competitive Programming.
Organization: Pahal an Initiation Description: Student Organization "Pahal An Initiation" organized a session on financial literacy & financial inclusion for the residents of Khajurla Village. The session was delivered by Ms. Sandhya, Deputy Manager, Midland Microfinance Pvt. Ltd to manage personal financials for the future.
Organization: LPU-NSS Unit Prayas and Sanklap Description: LPU-NSS unit Prayas and Sankalp organized an exceptional grooming sessions in nearby slums and villages with an aim to teach the unprivileged children under "Gyandeep" initiative.
SDG 5: Gender Equality
Project Name: LPU hosted the National Transgender Persons’ Cricket Tournament at LPU! Organization: Student organisation club 20 Description: Student organisation Club 20 in association wit other student clubs assisted in hostinf of a the National Trans* Persons’ Cricket Tournament at LPU for its unwavering support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
It was heartwarming to see the joy and camaraderie that the players shared, and we hope that this tournament will inspire more such events in the future.

descriptive, predictive and prescriptive stand points

World Wetland Day Organization: LPU-NCC Description: On te ocassion of World Wetland Day, LPU- NCC volunteers organised an Awareness Session
Dr. Sachin Kumar, Deputy Director, Biochemical Conversion Division at the Sardar Swaran Singh National Institute of Bio-Energy, Kapurthala ,India and Scientist B and Assistant Director, Bureau of Indian Standards, Himanshu Kumar, made the audience aware about Importance of Wetland and Water Conservation.
Organization: Pradyut Foundation Description: "Pradyut Foundation" organized an awareness rally on World Water Day with an aim to raise awareness about the importance of water conservation & management.

Project Name: EFFI - Cycle Organization: Student organisation - LSCC (LPU SAEINDIA COLLEGIATE CLUB) Description: Student organisation - LSCC (LPU SAEINDIA COLLEGIATE CLUB) organised Effi-Cycle 2022 (supported by Maruti Suzuki) witnessed a spectacular display of talent from diverse participants !
Project Name: Embracing Sustainability: Eco Vision-2023 Organization: Student Organisation Pehal initiation Description: Student Organisation Pehal initiation organised an event Embracing Sustainability: Eco Vision-2023promoting a greener, more sustainable future for our planet. With a commitment to environmental stewardship and innovative solutions, Eco Vision 2023 sets forth ambitious goals to tackle pressing environmental challenges and promote sustainable development.
Organization: LPU NSS Unit Shaurya Description: LPU-NSS unit "Shaurya" runs a tree plantation drives on multiple occasions in nearby community and villages to save environment; A tree which you plant by yourself , you water , you see growing up, gives the joy as same as a pet which ultimately provides clean energy in environment.

Project Name: Incredible 8 -"Prabhaav - LPU's inter-hostel competition on sustainability Organization: DSO Description: DSO organised an Event Incredible 8 "Prabhaav" - LPU's inter-hostel competition on sustainability. Under the guidance of the Division of Youth Affairs and the Student Welfare wing, the Department of Student Organisation brought together students from across campus to compete in a range of categories, from upcycling to waste reduction to energy conservation. The creativity and passion on display was truly inspiring - it's clear that LPU's student community is dedicated to making a positive impact on the world around us.

As a Youth Leadership Development Organization, they want to induce these skills from the starting itself. Therefore, Student Organization AIESEC is conducting a summit for new membership where they will get to about themselves more and will be developing public speaking via different set of activities planned for them.

Project Name: Industrial Visit to ITC Organization: Society for Management Learning Description: Student Organisation 'Soceity for Management Learning' under the aegis of Department of Student Organisation, Division of Youth Affairs , Student Welfare Wing, Lovely Professional University organised an event 'Industrial Visit at ITC Kapurthala. The Objective of this visit was to give the industrial exposure to the students.
Project Name: Student Organisation RISC technical skills in the Event- "RC Xtreme 2.0 Organization: RISC Description: Student organiasation RISC of LPU exhibited their technical skills in the Event- "RC Xtreme 2.0 - Drag it to the last limit" which was organized by the Student Organization RISC - Robotics And Intelligent System Community in association with the Department of Student Research and Project, Student Welfare Wing.
Students have designed and developed their own remote-controlled car from scratch and brought it up to clear the arena to compete with the other participants.

Project Name: My Pet Plant campaign: Organization: LPU- NSS and Student organisation Psyche Description: LPU- NSS and Student organisation Psyche organised an Event “My Pet Plant" campaign, aimed at raising awareness, to promote and encourage community participation in planting trees and greenery in public spaces for a more sustainable and aesthetically pleasing environment such as in local areas like roads, colonies, parks, and showcasing how these initiatives can transform the surroundings greener and more sustainable community while showcasing the potential beauty and transformation that planting trees and greenery can bring to public spaces.

Project Name: Reduce plastic waste Organization: LPU- NSS in collaboration with Pradyut Foundation and Tachyons Description: An initiative taken by LPUNSS volunteers in collaboration with Pradyut Foundation and Tachyons to raise awareness about the environmental issues caused by plastic bags. Using handmade paper bags made from newspapers is an eco-friendly alternative to plastic bags, and distributed them in more than 20 states of India is a commendable effort to reduce plastic pollution. Organization: LPU NSS Unit Yuva Description: Floating islands technology is something that was earlier unheard of in India, but has become significant in the recent times in reference to the work being done in the Kanjli wetland. As a solution to revive the rapidly deteriorating lakes around the country, students of LPU have brought in the concept of Floating Island technology.

Project Name: Vijay Gatha 2.0 - Kargil Vijay Diwas Organization: Pahal an Initiation Description: Pahal.. an initiation, under the aegis of division of student welfare organised a series of Instagram Live sessions named "Vijay Gatha 2.0" where it had three of the most prominent personalities of Indian Army to pay tribute to the great and memorable victory of our brave armed forces in the Kargil War.
Project Name: ASU Congregation Ceremony for African Students - 2023 Organization: African Students Union Description: Student Organization, African Student’s Union (ASU) under the aegis of the Division of Youth Affairs, Student Welfare Wing, Lovely Professional University organized ASU Congregation Ceremony for African Students - 2023 for all the passing out students this year. The aim of this ceremony was to bring together all passing out students of class 2023 and ASU members (Students) to celebrate together for their brothers and sisters for attaining this unforgotten event in their college life. The students from following countries were part of this event : Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Namibia, Sudan, DR Congo, Cameroon, Lesotho, Somalia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mali. The Ambassadors/High Commissioners of following countries will be approached to be a part of this event: Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Malawi & The Gambia.
