This prestigious event, titled “Hunar - Harvesting National Talent,” saw participation from over 2,250 students from nearly 120 universities across India. LPU's victory highlights its commitment to fostering diverse talent and excellence.

In a glorious effort to mark Punjab Day, 4411 students of Lovely Professional University, Punjab came together to set the record of the World’s Largest Bhangra Performance. The mammoth crowd of Bhangra enthusiasts beat the previous world record which was set for 2100 performers.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) student Yatin Bhaskar Duggal has secured the first prize at the National Youth Parliament Festival in New Delhi, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Held at the Central Hall of the Indian Parliament, this prestigious competition saw participation from 2,849 students across the nation. Yatin's victory reflects his dedication and eloquence, making LPU proud on a national stage.

Elated to share that we have become Overall Champion in the 37th AIU North Zone Youth Festival, outshining participants from 18 universities. Our Vertos have proudly lifted a diverse range of trophies, including the Overall Music Trophy, Overall Fine Arts Trophy, Overall Literary Trophy, Overall Dance Trophy, and 1st Runner-up Trophy (Theatre).

LPU has won the first runner-up championship trophy of the inter-university youth festival held at GNDU campus in Amritsar. Our contingent won 8 first positions; 13 second; and 8 third positions. LPU stands as the only private university in the state to be at the prominent place for the last two years.
