Lovely Professional University (LPU) emerged as the Overall National Winner at the 37th National Youth Festival, held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. This prestigious event, titled “Hunar - Harvesting National Talent,” saw participation from over 2,250 students from nearly 120 universities across India. LPU's victory highlights its commitment to fostering diverse talent and excellence.

LPU’s amazingly talented Qawwali singers outshined contestants from various Universities by bagging the 1st Position in AIU National Qawali Championship, at Madhya Pradesh.

LPU’s No Name Crew (NNC) shine at the 12th Indian Hip Hop Dance Championship in Mumbai, securing victory. Advancing to the mega crew division, they join the elite 21 teams nationwide. They are proudly selected for the World Hip Hop Dance Championship to be held in Phoenix, US. They are the sole representatives of India. A moment of pride for LPU.

Our talented students have once again made us proud by showcasing their exceptional skills and bringing home laurels through various Indian reality TV shows. From dazzling dance moves to mind-blowing performances, LPU students have wowed audiences across the nation, proving that excellence is at the core of our university spirit. In a glorious effort to mark Punjab Day, 4411 students of Lovely Professional University, Punjab came together to set the record of the World’s Largest Bhangra Performance. The mammoth crowd of Bhangra enthusiasts beat the previous world record which was set for 2100 performers.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) student Yatin Bhaskar Duggal has secured the first prize at the National Youth Parliament Festival in New Delhi, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Held at the Central Hall of the Indian Parliament, this prestigious competition saw participation from 2,849 students across the nation. Yatin's victory reflects his dedication and eloquence, making LPU proud on a national stage.

LPU alumni, including Jayant Patnaik, Amritanshu, and Ajay Tiwari, featured on the National TV Channel SonyLiv's Reality show "India's Got Talent" and secured the First Runner-up Trophy. Their captivating performance reflects the excellence nurtured at LPU.

The LPU Bhangra Team proudly represented India on the global stage by performing in several countries as part of a cultural showcase in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). Through their vibrant and energetic performances, the team highlighted the rich tradition of Bhangra, captivating international audiences and promoting Indian heritage. This prestigious collaboration reflects LPU's commitment to fostering cultural exchange and global representation.

Elated to share that we have become Overall Champion in the 37th AIU North Zone Youth Festival, outshining participants from 18 universities. Our Vertos have proudly lifted a diverse range of trophies, including the Overall Music Trophy, Overall Fine Arts Trophy, Overall Literary Trophy, Overall Dance Trophy, and 1st Runner-up Trophy (Theatre).

LPU has won the first runner-up championship trophy of the inter-university youth festival held at GNDU campus in Amritsar. Our contingent won 8 first positions; 13 second; and 8 third positions. LPU stands as the only private university in the state to be at the prominent place for the last two years.

Our students made the audience grooved to the beats of Bhangra as they gave a mesmerizing performance at Yuva Sangam, Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangam. The event was graced by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.

The 2nd International Youth Festival by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), One World 2023, fosters cultural exchange and understanding. With 2500 students from 50-plus countries, the event showcased unity in diversity through cultural parades, vibrant performances, and interactive stalls, highlighting the rich tapestry of traditions at LPU.

Nine vertos showcased their eloquence, captivating a huge audience at the 13th event in Pune, Maharashtra. They were not only applauded, but also were felicitated,by renowned leaders of the country like Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Former Vice President of India Shri Chirag Paswan, MP Loksabha, Prof. Manoj Jha, Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha (RJD), Bihar, Dr. Vikram Sampat, Renowned historian and columnist.

LPU’s contingent proudly claimed 2nd runner up place at the Punjab State Youth Festival, receiving the trophy from Mr. Bhagwant Mann, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab. Our talented Vertos earned 19 medals in categories like Literary, Music, Dance, Theatre, and Fine Arts. This achievement showcases the all-round excellence and holistic development of LPU students.

Presented by The Division of Art and Culture in partnership with Puratan Kala Punjab Gharana Tabla Vadan Sikhya Kender, this event united students and faculty in a celebration of classical music's splendor. Honoring the legacy of the iconic tabla maestro, Ustad Alla Rakha, attendees were enthralled by stellar performances from renowned artists. It was a jubilant homage to India's classical music heritage, leaving an indelible mark on all who participated.
