University offers comprehensive hostel facilities within the University campus. We understand that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by offering comfortable and safe hostels within the campus, providing a homely atmosphere. University offers separate magnificent hostels for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Each hostel has its own mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals three times a day. The menu is designed to cater to a range of taste buds.

The University makes the best possible efforts to provide the best of services and facilities within the hostels. To make the stay of the students a pleasant one they are constantly involved by organizing various events, activities and celebrations within the hostels. Various sports and cultural clubs have been made for the students to enhance their participation and knowledge. Also counselling facilities on personalised basis are provided.

HOSTEL FACILITIES

1. Separate hostel facility for boys and girls within the campus.
2. Rooms with attached washroom, bed, table, chair and almirahs.
3. Air cooler facility/AC(as opted).
4. Arrangement for power supply through dedicated hotlines.
5. Hot water in winters (scheduled timings) in each room for two hours per room everyday or as decided by the University.
6. Facilities for indoor and outdoor games like Table tennis, Badminton, Football, Basket Ball, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, Cricket, Hockey, etc.
7. Free internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only.
8. In campus clinic with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students
9. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/Geyser/Air cooler).
10. Hygienic mess facility with vegetarian meals only.
11. Students are not allowed to drive within the campus and parking of two wheelers shall be at the place designated by the University.

World class Laundry Services under most hygienic conditions are available in the University Campus. The Laundry Services are undertaken using the best washing and drying machines using standard chemicals. Also, steam press system is used that ensure excellent quality of garments care.

HOSTEL GUIDELINES

1. Hostel facility is permitted on annual basis for students admitted for regular programmes for regular academic session.
2. All rights of permission to avail the hostel facility are reserved with the University and can be denied to any student. No student shall be entitled to claim this facility as a matter of right.
3. Hostel facility will be offered on First Come First Serve basis, with the provision for reservation for special category of student(s) such as those admitted for residential programme or from the distant places or as decided by the University.
4. The location of the hostels, floor and room pattern are subject to change from time to time.
5. Hostel facility will be provided till the end of the regular academic session including regular exams. For availing hostel facility after the end of academic session for any purpose like summer school/reappear examination/make up examination etc., additional proportionate hostel fee will have to be paid by the student, subject to the availability and permission of hostel facility.
6. Hostel fee as mentioned below is for the current academic session i.e. 2010-2011 and it is subject to change for successive years.
7. Hostel facility(s) once chosen like laundry service or with food or without food options etc. will not be changed during the academic session.
8. Hostel fee as mentioned below includes the fee for accommodation; electricity charges for light load (fixed 750 units per room per semester). For AC rooms, electricity will be charged on actual basis i.e. in addition to light load.

• Option for 5 Seater is not available ,but in special case (Due to financial constraint or otherwise) 4 Seater can be converted into 5 Seater.
• The fees for 5 seater would be Rs. 40000 with food and Air Cooler and Rs. 30000 without food and with Air Cooler.
• World Class laundry service is available at a reasonable price of Rs.2000 for the whole academic Year.
