MBA International  (with Twinning Arrangement)

Student after successful completion of 1 yr at LPU will have two choices:-
(a) To join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme; or
(b) To complete the programme at LPU without any international exposure.

Eligibility Criteria
(Qualifying Exam)
For Indian Applicants

PPass with a recognized Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent or relevant higher qualification with:

  1. Minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA
    Or
  2. Minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA and valid score of at least 60% in CAT-08 or 70% in MAT(Sep'08, Dec'08, Feb'09) /XAT-09.
 
For International Applicants (NRI/PIO/Foreign Nationals residing outside the India)
Apart from the fulfillment of entry and study requirements in India, International Applicants must have completed 12 years of formal education at the School level followed by a recognized Bachelor’s Degree of at least 3 years duration in any discipline or equivalent or relevant higher qualification with minimum aggregate marks or equivalent grades, as prescribed above for the respective programme.
Admission Criteria
For Indian Applicants

Admission of the applicants qualifying the interview 4will be made in the following order of preference:

(a) Merit in valid CAT6 / MAT/ XAT Score.
  (b)

Merit in the qualifying examination.

4 Interview will be taken to determine the general level of communication abilities and therefore the applicants need not undergo any kind of professional coaching.
6 For preparing merit list, 10 percentile will be added in the CAT score.
 
For International Applicants (NRI/PIO/Foreign Nationals residing outside the India)

Apart from the fulfillment of the admission procedure for Indian Applicants, International Applicants (NRI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals) must fulfill the special requisites as under:

(a)

International Applicants, unable to take the entrance tests like CAT/MAT/XAT/IIFT and GD and/or Interview (if and as applicable) to be conducted at the University Campus, will be required to submit valid GMAT (http://www.mba.com/mba/thegmat) scores which will be treated at par with the combined weightage of entrance tests like CAT/MAT/XAT/IIFT and GD and/or Interview for the purpose of merit list.

  (b) TOEFL (code for LPU 3861)/IELTS (http://bandscore.ielts.org/) score will be required from the International Applicants whose medium of study has not been English.

1 Subject to increase of 9% every year, for details refer to the fee increment table.

5 In case where student goes abroad for the completion of the programme, fee (presently) is for the duration of the program done at LPU, after transfer the students will pay the partner/ receiving university the prescribed tuition fee and other charges.
Mode of Payment

• Demand Draft/ Pay Order in favor of “LOVELY FACULTY OF BUSINESS AND ARTS” payable at JALANDHAR.
• Cash to be deposited only at Counseling and Admission Department at the University Campus in Phagwara (Punjab).
• Credit Card/Debit Card (only for online submission of Application)
Requisites •Personal interview at the University Campus only will be held twice a day at 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. Alternatively, interested Applicants may appear for telephonic interview at the designated places at Delhi between 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Dates of interview will be displayed on the University website (www.lpu.in)
• Compulsory Pre-Term, with no extra fee, of two weeks before start of session/programme.
• Students opting to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of the programme will have to fulfill the entry requirements of that university.
• Fee for English Language Proficiency Tests like TOEFL, IELTS etc. is to be paid by the student separately.
